In your hand you hold a bottle of glögg – a tribute to the Larsson family’s love of holidays and traditions, and in particular the warmth, fellowship and joy of Christmas that filled their home at Lilla Hyttnäs in Sundborn. On Christmas morning, Carl lit two candles in all the windows and woke the family. He then made mulled wine on the kitchen stove and the aroma spread throughout the house. Although mulled wine is often associated with Christmas, it has a place all year round – served both hot and cold. Tevsjö Mill & Distillery has traditionally made this mulled wine with a base of freshly squeezed blueberries and rhubarb but a palette of spices such as cloves, cinnamon and sugar – a well-spiced, rich and balanced mulled wine.
