With the words ”Welcome, dear friend, to the home of Carl Larsson and his spouse,” the artist couple invited friends and celebrities to their home Lilla Hyttnäs in Sundborn, also known as the Carl Larsson Home.
The home is famous for its creative style and innovative interior design. Already during Carl and Karin’s lifetime, people journeyed to Lilla Hyttnäs to experience the environment that attracted so much attention.
Even today, the family celebrates holidays at the estate. You are warmly welcome to visit and step into the world that is so central to Carl and Karin’s joint creativity.
”It is around this place the earth rotates
– that is how remarkable it is.”
